I don't know if this is true. They have lost basically no earnings. The damage to their reputations has been minimal le. They admitted to being duped only.
There is the question of safety. Admittedly this is the big one. This could be complete crap because I'm not a doctor, but these kinds of drugs do their damage with long term use. Yes, safety was potentially compromised, but no one actually got hurt because the program was so short. Jon Mannah is a possible exception but his circumstances are highly unusual.
All in all, I suspect the biggest problem with legal action is actually the legal bills themselves and ongoing bad publicity for the club. I don't see big paydays for players.

Cost awarded against him too. It's not defamation if it's true. Three judges just kicked Dank in the ar$e.

The amended pleading further states that Mr Rothfield wrote that it was Mr Irvine who said or "tweeted" these words some of which were quoted by Ms Harris in paragraph 8 of Annexure "A"
I'm guessing we might hear a lot more about that when Isaac Gordon's case is heard.

Best idea from his manager is to get away for awhile.
I'd personal question the intelligence of the destination and company considering the circumstances but otherwise I have no issue with it. I would have thought "getting lost" in Europe or US would have been a wiser choice but who am I to judge!
