Will be aloud top up players to fill their rooster.... Will still have plenty of legal cases to sort through now... Wonder if st kilda can sue Essendon for trading a now ineligible player, who knows... But from start to possible now finish both codes massive cluster fk...

Doubt it. All clubs knew the risk.

Will this whole thing with Essedon have any affect on the sharks?

No. Sharks got their bans which were never appealed by wada etc. the book is closed in terms of player bans.

The legal action is on going i think

It was clear they were always going to be found guilty, but wasn't expecting one year.

I was thinking NAB Challenge and first few rounds at most. AFL and Essendon were thinking the same and are reeling from it now.

Also pretty childish of the AFLPA to ask the AFL to withdraw from WADA

Their argument regarding wada is that afl or aussie rules isnt an internationally played sport yeah?

But they will lose an arseload of cash in funding. AFLPA's statement had its heart in the right place but was kneejerk and emotional.

Our blokes will never be happy I would imagine. They will always blame the club for what happened in the back of their mind i'm sure.

And so would I in the same situation.
They are grown men and had the power to question what they were taking, even the power to say no. They didn't so they were punished. They should let it go IMO.

They could have taken a deal like us and it would have blown over a long time ago.

Glorious. **** them and **** the AFL. Tried to pull deals and weasle their way through it and it failed for once. Hopefully this is just the beginning of the fallout.
