So this started today, should be interesting. So glad we took the 'punishment' when we did.

Essendon remain hopeful that the 34 players facing the World Anti-Doping Agency’s appeal will know their fates by Christmas with the hearing to start on Monday at the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Sydney.

The world body is challenging the AFL anti-doping tribunal’s March verdict that cleared the 34 current and past players. The three-man CAS panel’s verdict is final, meaning it is the last stage of the anti-doping process that started in February two years ago.

Yep, end of the day a 3 game penalty for admitting to being injected with a substance unknown was a very good move. That decision didnt really hurt any players career.

Why I don't feel sorry for any of them.

Maybe feeling sorry is not the right way to put it. this bloke has been hammered by asada and from what i've read and heard he seems to really be the only one really whose life is totally ****ed because of it.

I feel sorry for Gal having his reputation tarnished. He was only trying to save the club.

I thought he only got his own stuff from dank chemist mate in bondi? I know actually having the **** and taking it from place to place is trafficking.

Why he got what he deserved.....off site needles, he himself definitely shoulda checked out what he was using. Plus the fact he knew by name what he was given he has no excuse. Is there an element of deceit? Probably.

Very different scenarios and circumstances to what happened here. I think the fact we sent dank packing was the reason he didnt try any **** at the panthers (inside the club).

Dont feel sorry for sandor but if he ever makes a comeback i wont oppose it either

I do to a point.

It was his own naivety that got him in the ****, but, he was introduced to Dank via the club, and was thrown under the bus by Gould, and then used as an example by ASADA and the NRL.

He was the perfect scapegoat.

They're very likely to be found guilty, but the bans will be heavily back dated.

It will still be 4 years without proper closure.
