Yeah, I stopped following it when our punishment was handed out. I'm a bit bored of the ins and outs, but I'm interested to see the end result. I now understand the boredom of the general public in relation to this story. People got sick of it pretty quickly when nothing much happened. And now that we aren't sitting in limbo, I fall into that category too.
I'm interested in the outcome too, but I'm only loosely interested in the Swans regarding AFL and the situation is too complicated to be worth following for me since the Sharks have been cleared/finalised. It is a huge deal down in Victoria land though.

I can't help but follow it. It's polar opposites to our case.

Their investigation is on a much larger scale to ours, yet the media isn't as venomous towards them compared to what we copped.

And it blows my mind that 3 years into the investigation and they're still going to unbelievable lengths to suppress the players names. The day our story broke we had every publication from here to Broome naming (and sometimes incorrectly) our players.

It's like watching our investigation all over again but in some bizarro parallel world.

Essendon is a HUGE club. One of the big three in Melbourne (think bigger and meaner than the Broncos) and with that they have friends in News Ltd who are pushing their cause (as in the journos are Essendon fans). Caroline Wilson (no relation to Rebecca) is from the Age and she is the "devil" trying to attack Essendon (according to the Essendon faithful).

It is the same situation but perceived in reverse by the media. The media incidentally should be bipartisan in all cases. At least that was the situation many months ago, and I'll eat my hat if things have changed.

I'll have a hat on standby just in case.
I prefer a hat weaved in lemon grass and subsequently soaked in ginger, garlic and soy sauce for approximately 24 hours. Place 5 porks ribs and slow cook for 3 hours (no less).

Serve with garnish so i can pretend I'm eating salad :)

What's going on with the former Sharks in the Super League? I noticed that Paul Aiton was playing on the weekend.

Let them be.
ASADA are useless and no-one should have gotten any suspension so good luck to Aiton and Pom if they can get to retirement without having to worry anymore about those *********.

Crowley from Freo has tested positive on game day last year

http://www.afl.com.au/news/2015-03-16/crowley-faces-drug-ban

Took a painkiller outside club doctors order. The painkiller had something in it on the banned list.

I like how the Players Association can keep thing things private until its needed to be announced.

On game day? What would happen to a swimmer, runner, cyclist etc if they were caught in a competition? Pretty sure it would be a two year ban.

Sydney Rooster Martin Kennedy faces two year ban for illegal drug use: reports

The Daily Telegraph March 18, 2015 7:08AM

An infraction notice could be issued this morning and Kennedy could face a two-year ban, it has been reported on Channel Seven’s Sunrise programme.

The report also claimed that ASADA was in possession of text messages that incriminated Kennedy.

The prop has been named on an extended bench for the Roosters clash with the Panthers on Monday night.

Kennedy re-joined the Roosters this year after an unhappy 12 months at the Broncos where he failed to command a position in the first-grade team.

I saw you'd already posted about this on the General thread.

Be interesting if there is strong evidence for this. ASADA could get a result without having to rely on bullying tactics to do so.
