Who claimed he knew they were banned? Not even the doping officer knew until last year. Infact if memory serves, flanno wasnt aware there was injections til givney brought it to him. Shoulda been nipped in the ass then. Still woulda had a suspended team then

ASADA can't make promises of what WADA may do.

So, would the club get sued into oblivion or would it be certain employees getting sued if the players go down that path ? My thoughts on the matter are if it was all done secretly then the club shouldn't have to fork out a cent.

I guess that all depends on how all this went down- who said what and when etc. and we still don't know those details, really. Perhaps we never will. If players went outside the usual protocols, eg taking injections from a bloke in a corporate box who has said not to tell the doctor I think it's difficult to place blame on "the club".

The other point is, who is going to defend the club separate from the individuals involved anyway? The club have just reappointed the coach in question, so it doesn't seem like they have much of an intent to provide a separate defence.
