Quite frankly, I'm sick of unintelligible hacks scoring cushy part-time media jobs after football, probably on 6 figure salaries, while working two to three days per week. They provide little insight or depth, and it’s blatantly obvious that they fail to do even the most basic of background research.

These pretenders probably spend the rest of the week having "long lunches" with the likes of Alan Jones, John Singleton or Johnny Raper. If they have some talent for the job, then fine. But so many offer absolutely nothing in informed comment OR humour. They just detract from the viewing experience.

What advantage would it be having a ex Australian cricket player on a FOOTY show, i listen to the big sports breakfast with him and TK and he is ok.
