Best looking logo in Australian sport? The former one sucked. It was nothing. Meant nothing.

I agree with others that rebranding would have been well down on the priority list if I were John Grant, but I think its a genuine improvement. Far from perfect, but its dragged the 'look' of the game out of the '90s.

They'll change it again in 8-10 years anyway.

Yeah I really like the logo. I think in terms of logos the simpler the better, and having a logo with the green and gold with the Southern Cross would really appeal to Australians.

this head of football title is a bit strange, dont you think this would be smiths title and he might be 2IC or something .so at this stage smith is CEO and greenburg is HOF

i dare say he will be 2IC acting as a puppet to smith. He will be the face of the nrl, speaking to the media, something he does well and smith hasn't had the best form in front of the camera

My question though is didnt Todd knock back the chance to run for the vacant nrl CEO position when gallop left? I'm sure he said he didn't want to run for the CEO position because he wanted to only work for the dogs. Why all of the sudden is taking up a role with the nrl?

In my mind one that indicates that the ASADA stuff will require Smith's 100% attention soon.

Greenburg to keep the footy side of things running along whilst all the other stuff is dealt with.

Sound governance to separate the issues.
