From what I've seen of Carr this season he won't be pushing for a first grade spot for a year or two. I am a big fan of his but I think he is a fair way behind where Nikora was this time last year.

As for Wilton ... he should stick with the Jets and shouldn't go back 20's ever again. I'd expect him to captain the NSW U20's team.

Rumour that James Roberts is set to leave Brisbane in the next week or two to join Souths.

Brisbane freeing up a lot of cash for someone... maybe there’s a reason JD pulled out at last minute hmmm 🤔

My theory a few posts above still stands
Although I'm 100% confident it is untrue

Yeah - if Roberts is as bad off the field as suggested you could see why they may want to rid themselves of him. Maybe he's one of those guys who is not very coach-able but Bennett has him figured out????

As for Nikorima .. who knows ... maybe they want to give one of the young kids a shot.

There's one or two options that have been thrown out as close to getting a gig for Broncs that would be a better fit with either Milford/Nikorima. Seibold may agree that the two current halves are not a good fit together.
Also will free up some money to re-sign TPJ and co

Green and Nikorima could be good. Does potentially make the two young guys at Warriors an option to go somewhere else. Keighran already can't get a gig even with Green injured after I thought he started the season okay for a rookie half.

Jamil Hopoate 2 year deal with Brisbane. Has been a weapon for Redcliffe in the Q Cup last year and this year but needed to get the personal stuff sorted and be approved by the NRL. Good luck to him.

From the halves they have ...

Dearden is good, but is only 18 and it isn't actually clear whether he is in the top 30
O'Sullivan is the same style as these two players
Dargan is probably the best organising half in their top 30 but probably won't get you excited in attack
Paix is good bet to be their long term 7, but isn't ready
Boyd is over-hyped and definitely not an organising 7 either.

Thanks Burg, I'd have thought it was the top 2 who have been mentioned but based on play style/top 30 maybe was actually Dargan not Dearden.
Definitely O'Sullivan's name getting thrown around and sounds like that maintains the too many cooks issue.
