I agree, however he's doing it for the same club that has a vested interest in his pay being enough to actually get him to agree to retire on less money.

If he was going to another club I wouldn't question if 300k was 'market rate' for the role.

Yeah just guesswork without a frame of reference. We don't have any idea how much others are being paid to do similar work.... or really what the **** the work is

For an elite player with a broad appeal it seems realistic that they'd get a decent pay packet but its probably is topped up with a bit of extra good will...

Gutherson to test the open market.

Looking at a 4 year deal at around 700k a season according to the DT

Do you guys remember the Rugby player Glen Ella?

I haven't seen him for a while but a few years ago he was working as a recruiter for indigenous people - we worked closely with him, and he was just a big ball.

Had a memory like a sieve too and could not for the life of him get anywhere on time.

Yes I remember the days of the galloping greens.

Rugby was watchable in those days with the 3 Ella brothers playing running rugby.

Great players. Mark Ella almost made the change to league.May of even signed with someone but ended up staying with Rugby.

Sounds like Glen is not doing to much running these days !

lol it's not 2017 anymore, Gutho, the silly money has been allocated already. $700 probably not too far off the mark but the market decides your value and I can't see him being worth that much to anyone else. Also can't see anyone available for less to do what he does for Parra. They should probably meet in the middle.

Reckon there would be a few clubs throw 700k @ 4 years sr him.

Cows (if no Val)
Dogs
Penny ( if they could flick Maloney)
Desperate clubs do desperate things surely we all remember our past rolls of the dice in regards to recruitment strategies pre flanno.

With 2 serious knee injuries already at the age of 24 or 25 I wouldn’t offer 4 years.

Given our financials Gal will be our ambassador. His salary will be free use of the gym and a free monday night chicken parmie with chips and a glass of house wine at the bistro.

Cause I don’t rate Moylan.

I’m with gando. Not a terrible player, but a definite confidence player. Plays great when the team is playing well, but I haven’t seen him drag us off the floor when the team is playing poorly.

Interested in seeing Moylan and Johnson after two years together though. Swap Gutho with duges. He can go play with Fergwit again, and he’s already got a parramatta hairdo.
