Think Hodkinson will be Ok. He has played behind a pack that's been badly beaten for a number of years. I doubt many halves would look like world beaters behind the knights pack over the last few years
Happy to have him in the squad for when our 6 or 7 go down. Cheap buy but I think a shrewd one

In his prime form at the Dogs circa 2014 I wanted him hard to replace Robocop here at the Sharks but even if he somehow managed that level of performance again I think Chad is pretty safe barring a long string of stinkers - once your in with Flanno your in

Yeah but maybe Chad isn't completely in with Flanno. He went hard for Mitchell Pearce not so long ago.

That was probably because he realised you need more than one NRL half in a team and can't just stack it with fullbacks.

To be fair we obviously knew we were going to be losing Maloney.

Wasn't it the theory that Moylan was replacing Maloney though?

It was only a thought re Townsend. I see him as an NRL quality half but not yet convinced that he can be the apex half in a top 4 team. Hope he has a blinder this year of course and puts all my doubts to rest.
