That would be difficult for me to comment on, as I'm not at the Roosters or Storm or Dogs fan forums, However i do recall a fair amount of hoo haa over the potential signing of one $BW to the roosters, one Goanna I to the Rabbitohs and from the Dogs i'm not sure whether or not there was much public comment from the Dogs in relation to Brett Morris before it was sorted.

Either way, I believe the club has been as quiet as possible thus far. As for the media, well they stir it all.

I reckon the dogs are up there with interest in players. They seem to be connected to every off contract player.

Its no secret that Hasler was keen on Lichha long before he signed. Time will tell if that was a good call or not.

Sounds like gal and Gordon will be signing for next year at least.

Add Robbo to that list.

Seriously if Robson signs i don't know how i front up another 200 dollars for this club. It might sound selfish or weak, but why support a club that has no foresight and continues to sign/re-sign the worst player in the NRL in his selected position.

Would be more than happy for them to resign if they were as depth, Gordon would make a great backup for Holmes. Unfortunately that won't be how it goes though.

no to Gordon, just no.
I'm not opposed to gordon re-signing if he were to actually be dropped if there is better options or out of form etc. I just get the feeling though that under flanagans coaching some players will play every week even if their form is absolutely putrid, and gordon is one of these undroppable players.

Yeah there's no way we'd be re-signing Flash on a wage that would suggest it would be for depth.

No reason why Gallen shouldn't be re-signed.

Would love him to play max 60 mins and not ball play. He should run as he does and look for an offload, even run a decoy but we don't have the structure to do that.
As for the other two ,robbo wouldn't get a gig anywhere else in the nrl so hopefully the dollars from esl entice him( flanno is dumb enough to come close to their dollars I reckon) and as for Gordon he isnt needed if our coaches blood holmes. Gagan on one wing and if feki plays as he did round one he can stay there.

yeah I'm pretty much in the same boat however I'll still purchase membership, I buy membership to support the club as a whole, I attend games to support the players and coach and won't go to games if robbo is our first choice half back

Tbh I don't have a massive problem with re-signing robbo if it's purely for depth purposes. The problem is if we are to sign hodko or Maloney etc, who is going to play half back if they were to get injured, at the moment we have zero depth in the halves and it's going to be the same next year, I don't think Stanley will be re-signed and if we don't re-sign robbo that leaves us with even less depth and while it will be great to get hodko or Maloney, putting all your eggs in one basket that they'll play the full year is a massive risk.

Regarding flash, at the moment we have no idea how Holmes is going to handle first grade at fullback, if we let flash go we will be relying on Holmes to play like we think he will but if he doesn't we are ****ed, it's a big risk in such a important position.

That's why we need to do what the roosters did last year with mini and RTS, which is also what flanno said he was going to do with flash and Holmes, rotate them during games so we can see how Holmes goes playing fullback and also help develop him at the same time

In the perfect world it would be great to keep flash as depth incase Holmes fails but it's just not going to happen, no way in the world flash stays to play for newtown

Robson would only be signed as depth - unless we missed out on any halfback and Nu couldn't be moulded into one imo

They wont re-sign robbo as a starter. As much as everyone wants to think that so they can abuse flanno it advance.

No offence but you don't know that for sure. We miss out on these halves coming off contract and he gets the gig by default. It's quite possible.

correct, there isn't a great deal of quality halves out there and there is a number of teams who need halves, like I said before we will be fighting manly who have money to get these halves

Also depends how far down the list flanno goes before he just goes '**** it I'll just use robbo' like would he sign someone like sezer, you'd like to think so but who knows with this douche bag any more

But everyones acting like they know for sure robbo will be starting 7 already.

No offence BWB but it's a fair position given Flanalolagan's history of sticking with incumbents - and Cronulla's unrivaled ability to tuck its own dick into its arse and **** itself over.
