I think the NRL should open up another spot for them on their roster and give them an extra 700k p.a. under the cap to help them keep GI. Seems fair.

I would let him go - means we can push Bird into firsts regularly on the bench - Lewis will be lucky to string 5 or 6 games together so if we can free up some cap we could use either this year I am all for it. Souths won't really get an advantage cause the bloke won't be on the field long enough.

I dont know why turners injury deserves exemptions when players like Nu, Gutherson and others can be out a season and their clubs get nothing. In fact if we got injury exemptions last year we coulda won the premiership

I just think if at the start of the season you have your 25, and 1 guy gets injured at any stage (pre-season exhibition), then so be it. Its squad management. He got injured they brought in Grevsmuhl. Who didnt have a **** game either. So as you say, they either release someone out of their top 25, or they just stick it out with a top 24 til turner is sweet.

You do realise he was playing awesome origin and for Australia , before he came unstuck last year ?

I'd have a fit Lewis over a poor possibly overated Wade Graham at present .

We need to replace Gallen, Robson, Gordon, Lewis, Tupou and Heighington. Would not lose any sleep if they sign elsewhere.
