IMO he went to the Titans because he could be the main attraction. The Sharks have Gal, Graham, Ennis Etc. A lot of mature heads that would put him in his place. Up there he has free reign & only has to deal with drug suppliers and his bum buddy Queenslanders.

lol I thought I was butt hurt about us not signing him .

When is Shaun Johnson off contract? Does it matter these days? Offer him what we offered DCE and see if he can break his contract.

We should have used that line to attract players when we had a reserve grade backline.

"Everyone else is ****, you're going to look great"

It's funny how the perspective changes when it's someone else. Most people on here were crying so hard a couple of years ago when we "couldn't attract players".

Now, as it did back then, money talks.

It's bad over there. Hilarious for everyone else though. They are already bagging his name out and all the things they've probably heard over the years they are now using on him haha

Seriously us over fifita is nothing compared to this, want toovey sacked, the board and whole club is a mess, massive re building stage.

It was only 2 weeks ago they were saying they'll be premiership contenders no matter what happens and acting so smug, it literally makes me cry with joy.

That sounds pretty serious. I feel a little sorry for Manly because they bought DCE up through the 20's but then I remember it's Manly and I think "**** em!". They've had it waaaaay too good for a long time.

Pretty much what i tweeted last night. Halves are allowed to look great behind a good pack.
I have to say, I do think he's a touch on the over-rated side.

He's been brought into probably the best and most consistent team of the last decade.

He's had a heap of good players around him to attract attention. They've had good go-forward and backrowers with a heap of ball playing ability. He's had another quality half next to him in Foran. Jamie Lyon's been there too and he's no stranger to the halves. He's also had one of the best fullbacks going around (even though he's spent a considerable amount of time injured).

I don't think I've seen him take command of a rep game yet, in the way Thurston, Lockyer, Smith or even Cronk do.

I'd still like him, but I did worry we were chucking a hell of a lot of money at him.

There are other options available who can still improve our team significantly.

Even if we don't get anyone, I maintain that Nu Brown is better than Robson.

Hopefully Todd Murphy is capable of stepping up, some kind of halves combination may work between him, Barba or Nu (when back from injury).

Nu and Robbo would be about the same pace at the moment

Offer sezer 500k 3 years or Hodko 600k 3 years

Start looking at an off contract prop as well as a couple of young second rowers

I'm still upset we missed out on dce, thought he could be the missing piece of the puzzle to finally win a premiership, but it's not the end of the world yet

With the money we offered dce we could still buy a decent half and a decent forward or centre which wouldn't be bad at all, if robbo is our number 7 next year I'll find it very hard to support the boys and question the direction flanno is heading in

Going to be interesting to see how this all plans out now in terms of future recruitment
