It’s simple… locks are the best players. If you had to pick a team comprised of only players who play one position, the team of locks would **** on any other team.

Can you imagine a team full of halfbacks inside their own 10? 13 blokes standing around telling each other to take a hit up.

Team full of centres or wingers would have to forfeit every game because they all want to be in the team of fullbacks.

Brown is good, but bring back Rhyse Martin to NRL, yes another lock or backrower, but a much needed goal kicker, plus might come less than what brown might be asking for. Fitzy and the playing group could get the best out of him

Apparently Brown’s form for Parra has dropped off a cliff though, hence him his minutes being cut the past few weeks and now him being dropped altogether. So we might have to think about that before jumping on the Brown Wagon.

It's hard to say from the outside, but it might be as simple as seeing the writing on the wall. Parra can be pretty frank in their negotiations and maybe a 29 yo Brown isn't in their plans.

So... Had a quick google to see when his contract ran out and found this. Looks like the Eels don't see him in their plans and have a young player they wouldn't mind finding a spot for.

I'd take Brown, he'd go well at the Sharks.
