I would hope we only need to find another 50k, if we are within 100k of Souths or other offers I'd hope he would stick with us.

Yes but its not a vaild point because we have Carney. The point is how much do you spend to keep Fifita given he is probably our second biggest star/performer. He has the skills of Dave Taylor with the motor of Gallen, we need more then just Carney for that weekend in October.

He is far more consistent than Taylor but he doesn't have the skills of Taylor.

Being repetitive,but I think sths window has shut,or almost shut,think we have a better short term chance than them in next 3 yrs, he should stay if that(not coin) is main criteria.

That's the most optimistic post I've seen for a while. Souths window is far more open than ours.

l agree whole heartedly, but l wonder who is going to explode this year. l really think the game is producing great fresh talent every year. Hope we keep him and pay what he is worth.lots of our players are of contract next year l believe this could have a bearing.
