That wouldn't surprise me, seemed to really enjoy his time with us and reluctant to depart.
Nikora started this season a bit better but is far from a lock in the team, Kurt could back himself to win the spot.
Maybe Kurt would like to continue working with Ciraldo...

Morris would rather lose his job that speak to Chambers, gotta respect that.

Hannay may like to wait and see how Tracey and Ramien go this weekend and make a call (or not).

To be fair I would prefer Chambers in the centres than Tracey

Doesn't look too grubby in this shot. Might go OK if Hannay decides to use him as a centre instead of an extra back rower.

Ah yeah, the guy that constantly taunted our players as drug cheats.

Yep, bring him in.

even beyond that he is not the player he once was, at one stage possibly the best centre in the game. when he left the NRL he was no where near that level

still our current centres are not so good that he couldn't still challenge them for a position and we could use the depth along with a potential stop gap into 2022

Hopefully Penrith win it this year so they have a few guys who are happy to move for money as they have a premiership.

nah **** that, I would rather take the spoon than see those tossers win a comp, at least while they have their current squad and coach

First thing Friday morning in order to get the most impact for our game Friday night!
But I don’t think bomber would do that to the players.
Probably to the board, yes, but not the players.

Bomber seems quite diplomatic in public, if he did do a tell all like hook when punted from the panthers I doubt it would come across as spiteful anyway even if he is rightfully pissed at the club - reckon he still wants to see the boys do well

Sharks would have paid contract out in full and told him to finish up straight away. Not good having a disgruntled employee mingling with the players.

The club would have been extremely keen to move him on immediately and likely pushed and incentivised him to do so

Peeps say he wasn't technically sacked or fired but being presented with no real good option is almost the same thing - hanging around wouldn't have done bomber or the club that many favours but I would have loved to see him stick around and see what we can make of season 2021 but I completely understand JMO walking whether he was pushed to or not.

When was the last time a coach left their club without their contract being paid out? Don't think it happens very often. As far as I am concerned bomber is entitled to that money and I highly doubt he isn't going to receive it.

Why would you leave the pennies before the end of the season.
A team who are likely to play on a GF and a very good chance of winning it!

and why would you leave to partner up with Hannay in a season that could well be a disaster from here on out. only reasons would be for a pay bumb and /or to get ahead of things leading into 2022 at the sharks

Well his mum is all over the Facebook page giving it to the board and being triggered by anyone who thinks it's the right idea.

not a good look. She needs to have a lay down

Good on her I reckon. If your mum doesn't have your back then who else will. Hope he at least gets a Mum tatt though.

LOL...He isn't in primary school. John can stand up for himself, and he had enough decorum to keep his mouth shut and not get involved in a public slinging match.
This will almost certainly rule him out of any coaching job going forward. If I was him i'd be filthy with Mum.

She can support him all she likes. Just don't embarrass him in a public forum. He looks like a cry baby now. Zero chance of future employment in the NRL

How old are you mate, if you don't mind me asking. I think the whole apron strings thing is more of an issue for those in their teens and twenties.

I highly doubt that NRL decision makers are concerned with what a ~60yo mum is writing on Facebook.
