Michael Lichaa has gotten into a bust-up with a current NRL player (rumoured to be a particular Bulldogs forward) and has been allegedly charged by police

you left out the part where a young woman was assaulted as part of the incident - think I head that was Lichaa's doing

aLLegEDLy

well that ends that NRL career anyway for good now you would think

Riccio was on Vossys show and talked about it. Only went for a few minutes and nothing much that’s not been said.

- been many attempts to meet in person but with Covid it’s been all calls and texts etc. imo a reason why it’s stayed so secret.

- thinks we’re a red hot chance and it’s been very positive.

- doesn’t expect an answer for a couple of weeks. The sooner the better imo.

Hope so.
I DON'T feel it's Riccio's fault that the world knows about our chasing Bellamy.
I blame the person that leaked it .

Agree, although at the time I had reservations about ever being an 'Ennis the Menace' fan, but once he was our Menace, I soon came around. As for Lichaa, I don't remember who was pushing his barrow but I always thought he was grossly overrated.

Yeah I hadnt read anything official at the time, was just a rumour floating, if it's true he's done that's for sure, not that he had much chance of a comeback as it was tbh

Apparently we have a back up plan if we don't get Bellamy according to Buzz.

Thats the clickbait in the title but of course he actually doesn't mention what that plan is.

How does this guy get paid.

Club Statement: Andrew McCullough
Author
broncos.com.au

The Brisbane Broncos today confirm they have released Andrew McCullough from his 2021 contract effective immediately.

McCullough, from Dalby, played 260 NRL matches for the Broncos, and represented Queensland in three State of Origin matches in 2018.

The 31-year-old started with the Broncos in the National Youth Competition under-20s team, before making his NRL debut in Round 10 of 2008 against Cronulla.

Broncos Chief Executive Paul White thanked McCullough for his efforts while in the Broncos jersey, having started in the Club’s talent development system as a 13-year-old.

“Macca has always been well respected by his fellow players and staff, and favourite with our members and fans,” said White.

“It is sad to see him depart Brisbane, but he will always have a special place here at the club.

“We wish Andrew and Carlie all the best in what will be a new and exciting opportunity for them.”

So if we don't get Bellamy, do we target someone else?

Apparently , seems they have a short list .
Not sure if there is anyone with similar credentials other than the Grim Reaper Bennett. ( but he wants to coach)
