sandor earl re signs with melbourne for 2 years

sam mckendry has re injured his knee at training.

lewis brown has announced his retirement from nrl after not receiving any offers (thought super league might of been interested in him)

I'd be seriously tempted at offering Chris Mcqueen a contract. he's wasted playing lower grades for the tigers. surely he would jump at the chance of joining a squad like ours where we are a little short in the backrow

some massive talent coming off contract in 2020

https://www.zerotackle.com/rugby-league/players/off-contract-2020/

anyone there we should target?

I'd be going for Jai Arrow, Nick Cotric, Marty kapow, felise kaufusi, Suliasi Vunivalu, Isiah Pap'ali, Mitch Barnett, Jesse Ramien (get him back) Joey Manu, Esan Marsters.

couple of them would be massive. then look at re signing j Brayley, jack williams, sione katoa, jackson ferris, braydon trindall. Maybe bukuya depending on form (will be 32 by then)

prior will be 33 by then, josh morris will retire at end of 2020, chad most likely will go to super league i reckon will one of our juniors taking the number 7.

Hopefully we are not short in the backrow as we have Graham (after 12 weeks), Gallen, Bukuya, Capewell, Williams, Sorensen, Nikora and maybe more... that's 7 players in our top 28 playing for 4-5 spots in our top 17 so it's probably about right,
A lot of promise from these younger guys, hopefully most push on with it.
We've been spoilt in the backrow for a long time

Joey Manu will end up playing 40 plus tests for NZ imo and will be one of the greatest players from nz.

how much would you offer him ?

i'd go 800k a year on a 3 year deal. he's a ****ing weapon.

Damn, some real quality in there. I’d be happy to see the back of Townsend and J Brailey by then. I think B Brailey is the future at 9 and hopefully one of the young blokes will shine and take the other halves position with Johnson.

As for signings, the ones that stand out to me are:
Fifita
Cotric
Arrow
Turbo bros
Taupau
Kaufusi
Ramien
Brown
Manu

If we could jag any of those, I’d be cheering!

Hopefully someone at the club has surpassed Chad by then... otherwise let him go and bring someone in.
Would be nice to get Ramien back as we are likely to be in the market for a centre.
Won't comment on Jayden as I have barely seen Blayke play, although you guys definitely have me interested.

Taupau or Arrow to help replace Gal.
Cotric would be a key target unless Feki or Katoa have break out years.

That’s pretty much it at the moment. I’m happy with everything else we have.

( now I'm starting to sound like Chad) :)
