We had our Bradbury moment for the last two weeks mate and didn't win the games to take advantage.

Like HB said, we are done and dusted for this year. Won't be surprised if we don't win another game and miss the 8.

I'm not that glum mate, we will win again this year.

Who against HB? Dogs? Knights? Storm? Cows?

A week or two ago, I would have said we could win at least three of them. Easily. But the Manly game has really rocked me.
My confidence is shattered. If we put up a good performance against the Storm I may change my mind but I'm not holding my breath.

I think we'll win two of our games vs. Dogs/Knights/Cows. We should win all 3 but I don't think we will.

I saw George Williams from Wigan might be available seeing as Adrian Lam wants to bring his son over. Apparently being chased by Newcastle. Any of you Super League buffs rate this kid? Still young but highly rated apparently. What kind of 6 is he? A ball runner like Moylan or an organiser like Maloney and finally, would he be good enough to play in the NRL and be better then Townsend?

This thread is for rumours, can you sad ****s slit your wrists elsewhere?

Not win another and miss the 8; jump already Chad and do a flip on your way down.

I've heard a rumour that Capital's getting annoyed ;)

haha for lack of a better word we'll go with annoyed but also a bit bemused.

We basically did not defend against Manly but it was a shank penalty goal that cost us. Our attack again was pretty sweet.

We know we can defend well. We've seen in the last few weeks especially we can turn on some very nice attacking play. We're not out of the race, make the 8 you've got an opportunity others don't. No one has real solid form, Chooks are peaking but we're not the only shaky side in the 8.

To suggest we'd drop out is ridiculous.

Mate Melbourne have won 8 from their last 9. I reckon the Bunnies are coming into some form as well.

Agree on the 8 though, we won't drop out.

So that Gehamat Shibasaki bloke played last night, I know some were mentioning a few months ago he had signed for us? Any more on this? looked lively, had a good step on him. Big guy. Nothing to rave too much about yet though.

Agree, he looked good for a young guy on debut, reckon he would have been a good get, bugger he extended with the Broncos.

also, hame sele to us and feki to the dragons is what is about to happen

I recall there being some wraps on Sele last year but he hasn't cracked the main squad this year. They've got a pretty good pack this year and been good for injuries though.

For what it's worth:

ROOSTERS MAKE PLAY FOR KYLE FLANAGAN
The Roosters have begun planning for life after Cooper Cronk by making a play for Cronulla young gun, Kyle Flanagan.

The son of Sharks coach Shane Flanagan, Kyle continues to push for NRL selection through the Intrust Super Premiership.

The NSW under-20s and NSW Residents representative halfback is off-contract at Cronulla in 2019.

Roosters coach Trent Robinson is a major fan of the younger Flanagan, which is why a verbal approach was made through the 19-year old's manager.

Interesting how the same article says that Hame Sele is not signed at the Sharks.
