top 4 is gone for us, our F/A isn't good enough and we will prob drop 1 or 2 more games to finish the regular season

our best chance of progressing is to meet panthers or warriors in week 1

i don't like our chances against any of the other top 8 teams

Agree. Wouldn't even be comfortable paying the Broncos. They seem to have the wood on us, though the scores are often close.

I’m actually worried about us playing the Panthers, we generally beat them all the time, law of averages say sooner or later they’ll get us back.

Gal hasn’t helped our cause, said a few weeks back in 100% footy show something like ‘we are never that worried playing the Panthers’ cause they don’t play a game for the full 80 so we always think we can get them’

I’m sure that didn’t go unoticed by the Panthers.

Things can change quickly. You never know what might fall into place once you hit September
2017 taught me that things don't just fall into place, we will need to pull off some serious bs to make it through the finals. we arn't good enough as it stands and i don't think there is enough time to pull it all together

North Queensland weren't good enough last year either. But they ended up in a GF.

They started to perform and had Morgan, Tomolo ect firing and i don't think their defense was rotten like ours is now

I'm talking about us, Cronulla I have little confidence we are going to perform or even now what that looks like anymore and who we got that's gunna fire? Prior can't do it himself in the forwards and Val can only do so much off our halves, Seggy gives is something but it's all individuals not a coordinated effort. I just hope our left side stays injury free now and can build some momentum at least we can keep getting some points there

Agree 100% Gards, it almost a Mirror image of 2017, Individuals more than cohesive team efforts, in wins .Plus IMHO Moylan and Duggan just don't fit properly in the Team as it/They stand.

Don't play for the full 80? That can be the Sharks too

But 2016 teaches that things can turn around very quickly. We won just one of our last 6 games heading into the finals (plus a draw). We know what happened then. But then again the current squad isn't of the same quality.

Chalk and cheese, there is no comparison.

We're not going on a big run this year, purely making up the numbers unfortunately.

Ennis, Maloney, Barba - leaders and talent in key spine positions. We are no where near this anymore even if our backline is better that is has been in more than a decade

agree, our best is good enough but we cant seem to do it for the whole game, we would need a Bradbury moment to last for about 3-4 weeks where we play teams who have a shocker on the day or the other teams to lose key players we play the following week.

We had our Bradbury moment for the last two weeks mate and didn't win the games to take advantage.

Like HB said, we are done and dusted for this year. Won't be surprised if we don't win another game and miss the 8.

Don’t be silly.
