Coincidently it’s also bring your dog to work day at the club. I’m sure he’ll be impressed.

First team to throw in his own poodle will end up getting pearce! Seriously, hope he goes to Newcastle.......him, Dugan and Moylan together at Northies is surely a disaster in waiting!

the more this drags on the more confident i am

You'd imagine he would have to do his due diligence on every club.

But i do hope the longer it goes the less likely Manly are to secure him.

I really couldn't see him going to Newcastle, I'd be surprised..... all the pressure on him, average team, out of Sydney.

Hasssssssss to be Manly or us.

I agree. I can’t see manly matching our offer and with the salary cap stuff going on I’d avoid that place like the plague. Problem is he doesn’t really want to move and if he moves from mossman to the shire he may as well drive a couple hours north to newy and get an extra $350k a year plus a cheaper house.

Manly were the favourites now it’s newcastle - I don’t think we have ever really been in the picture as a front runner. I still think he’ll go manly if they can give him a deal if not newcastle. I think he’s just being curtious to us. I hope I am wrong.

I didn't realise he lived in Mosman. Yeah if he doesn't want to move we are no chance.
Thats a **** drive to do each day Mosman to Cronulla.

Yeah he’d have to move to play for us but atleast he’d still be in Sydney I guess. If he lived in newy he’d have to travel every second week during the season

Why? It's only a 45 minute drive, 20 odd minutes more than he would have done to the Roosters.
Be similar to driving from the 'Gong'.

Have you driven from Cronulla to the north shore recently?
There is no peak hour anymore in Sydney. Its chaos all day; just different levels of chaos depending on time.
He'd probably be going against a lot of the traffic after clearing the city but its still ****. I see how Manly is more appealing.

Admittedly, it's been over 20 years since I lived there, but visited the club just before last new years and drove back north via Eastern Suburbs & Harbour Bridge. Traffic was thick after the airport.
I agree Manly is more convenient, but I was disputing the fact Pearce would need to move, if he chose us.

There is a very simple solution. He can relocate to the shire and get a better life. If Mitchell is not smart enough to work out that he can save about 90 minutes a day commuting backwards and forwards, then he's not real smart. What would he do if he signed in Newcastle (or Canberra or Penrith or Brisbane or Gold Coast or Melbourne or Nth Qld)? Yes, he would relocate and that is the sensible thing for him to do if he becomes a Shark.
