Worse coach in the NRL.

They should have bitten the bullet and appointed Madge.

Thats what they need.

I honestly think they will struggle no matter who coaches them. The culture is one of laid back optimism. The only coach I'd give any chance of succeeding would be Bellamy but I think even he'd tear his hair out.

They need to poach whoever they can from the All Blacks system.

SHARKS CIRCLE HALF

Cronulla are closing in on the signature of Darren Nicholls.

Having lost Fa’amanu Brown to the Bulldogs and Kyle Flanagan still maturing, the Sharks are in need of a back up playmaker.

The Penrith ISP NSW skipper is a player in demand and currently weighing up his options. While St George Illawarra are keen on the No.7, so too are the 2016 premiers. With both teams jostling for his signature, it adds another chapter to their intense and storied rivalry.

Cronk will retire is more likely than he plays for another club I reckon - prob has kept it up the air just to play that last World Cup

The thought of him partnering Pearce at the Roosters is ****en hilarious

Chad does more in our team than Maloney, if you take away the goal kicking (which Chad could also do at a slightly lower success rate)

Get rid of the turnstile bludger first

Pearce getting bunted for a halfback that has owned him at Origin level is also hilarious - point is it just seems so surreal to think he would be forming a halves partnership at a team like the roosters or other sydney club and playing against his bum chums at Melbourne.

I just don't see it.

Too bad for us though:

Line break assists 2017:
Cronk: 20
Chad: 3 (yes count em on a butchers hand, ****ing 3!)

Pearce is under contract, can't see him agreeing to leave unless there's a substantial amount of dosh in it for him.

ryan Hoffman looking likely to go back to Melbourne for 1 last season.

also the knights would like heighno for 1 last season. he will decide his future after the world cup apparently.

still plenty of players off contract also. think there will be a couple surprises coming up in the next month or so regarding signings etc..
