After watching Cronk on 360 last night i think he'll retire at the end of the year.

interestingly enough, a mate of mine works for the nrl and brett finch told him yesterday cronk was retiring

i cant see him playing for another club

Interestingly if reports can be believed, Bird met with Parra management on gameday 2 weeks ago and also met with Newy management last weekend the day after our game

So if this trend is to continue I wonder if there will be any 'informal meeting requests' with Melbourne this weekend from Bird's camp not that I am suggesting the Storm would be bending over backwards to recruit him

I get that he's definitely moving on and he wants to give the Storm maximum time to find a replacement. But couldn't he say that in private to Bellamy?

He said yesterday he's not gonna talk to any clubs for months, but in reality, he doesn't have to. Clubs are already doing that for him. He could leave it to the last minute and he'd still find a club.

leaving it last minute could also ccost him as clubs generally like to have their recruitment done by finals
