Apparently we have signed Josh Cleeland from the Ipswich jets,

Has big wraps on him

We are now seeing some very good young talent coming to the Sharks I agree not all of them will make it ,but it is a great way to go and so refreshing to see , we have a lot of great players coming to the end of their careers and no doubt would love to mentor some of these kids.

Lets hope he turns out to be as good as we think. It appears as though we now have some good potential halves jockeying for a chance at first grade in such an important position

Great to see the office boys are now on the boil . Would not be surprised if LovyaLyal had some say in this

HB Sounds like a Plan and brilliant strategy you must be a man of discerning taste.

I have just viewed some video of the Ipswich Kid he looks the goods great short kicking game , can pinch a ball one on one ( maybe Alfie taught him). Gotta say much more interesting buying Kids with potential than some poor old burnt out hacks.

Starting to look forward to 2016 and hopefully an exciting team to watch Oh Yezzzz

Spanner Shark sounds like you are not a bad fella yourself great to hear from you This pre season is starting to look interesting
It will be very interesting, can't wait for the 9s and the composition of the team for round 1.As you eluded to earlier ,we are in transition from the cocoon to the premiers and it will definately be with the guidance of our senior players. I think it would be good if the Ipswich Jets bros came down as assistant coaches, could tweak our attack.

You're so right. There's a whole new generation of players who need to learn the proper curses to yell at junior coaches. How to get a great barmaid who strips at a reasonable price. And how to find good gear, use it to reach the top levels of the game, then manage the smallest of times out of the game and a lucrative media career to fall back on (outside of another contract, Origin and boxing).

It's the halves and centres I feel for though. Robson. Gone. Ashyford. Gone.

Still, we have Gallen, and there's plenty to learn about getting your hands on the ball from him.

(explanation: I'm just about to reach the hour mark in the doctors waiting room....)

Makes a lot of sense, no doubt they would have a lot of contacts in QLD So would also be great talent scouts

It makes a lot of sense. Only thing is i don't think they want to go into an assistants role. They want to be head coach or nothing at all.

Also Flanno would probally feel threatened by them so i don't see it happening with Flanno as coach.

Would be nice though.

SBS News just said that the Wellington Phoenix has not had it's Soccer licence extended for the good of the Australian game , The Phonenix wanted a further 10 years but Gallop said 4 years max . SBS said a joint franchise for Southern Sydney with the Cronulla Sharks being on the cards .

Yep the leader reported that today. Apparently home base remondis, games to be played there win and oki if this actually happens.

Could spell more sponsorship money for things like the stadium naming rights, ground sponsorships and of course extra club revenue
