They didn't want to lose him in the first place.
Which doesn't mean they now want him back. McFadden is signed till 2017, and IMO he will coach them next year, especially after the great recruitment program he has been a part of. Why recruit all those high profile guys, then tell them " oh but we've sacked the coach, hope you're still interested".
Robbo would walk!😉

The Cosmic Psychos played at half time down here in Melbourne at the Community Cup aussie rules game a few years back. In front of about 20, 000 people.

Should have seen the looks from some of the hippies in the crowd when they launched straight into "Dead in a ditch, dead in a ditch. Next Time I see ya you'll be dead in a ditch!" haha

Great day though, heaps of beer and lots of drunken streakers.

Best we get the cosmic psychos up to Shark park for a half time rip it into em gig.... and yes Dead in a ditch, dead in a ditch sounds rather appropriate ha,ha,haaaaaaa

I doubt anyone would let Lyall's contract get in the way of him making the move if he was offered the job and he wanted it. A couple of AFL CEOs made the final rounds of their last talent quest and would have been free to move on had they got it.

One of them was Brian Cook, the Geelong CEO. He'd be an excellent choice.

Of the RL personalities, Jim Doyle or perhaps Castle would be the best candidates IMO (outside of Lyall).

Barry O'Grange will no doubt be thrown up by the media.

Gotta say I love Lyall , he is possibly the best signing we have ever had so don't leave us Lyall now we are starting to head in the right direction.. Love you Lyall[/B]

Yeah because i'm sure all of those players that are 'the next' big thing have lived up to it.

Where's that next sonny bill we signed. Security guard somewhere?
