Wonder if Duffie leaving is a reason for Scott going down there? I know he's young but could he get a start next year with Duffie and Mann leaving? There will be one spare spot with Munster taking one of them.

I'd be very surprised if he starts next year, from the few games I saw of him in the NYC he didn't even impress much in those games. Besides Munster and Chambers will be the centres I'd imagine.

Yeah but there will be a wing spot up for grabs? Anyway, just asking as I've never seen him play.

I heard through the grapevine Scott actually preferred the Cowboys set up over the Storm but from a playing point of view he was sort of shown there might be a possibility of him getting a earlier FG spot or game time at the Storm (at the time was told there were backs moving on, Mann had already signed elsewhere, Duffie hadn't & I don't think Fanua had)

While it was a shock for most of us to see Duffie & Fanua go, the Storm were already anticipating there departures some months back.

If this happens it could be a smart move as i reckon willie has a promising media career ahead of him post footy. If he likes it here he then becomes another positive sharks presence in the media much like ennis will be.
