I'd love it if we made a play for Tapau, what an awesome pack we'd have, make it happen.

Apparently Tapau to leave the Tigers? Possibly to the Titans?

From one pile of **** to another.

Bad career move, good money id guess though

Obviously the Titans still have DCE money and have banked on young halves - the one they got, the kid from Broncos with probably Mortimer as 3rd choice. With the loss of Miles and I think White went to Melbourne they're left with the likes of Bird, James, Pasi... They need forwards.

**** he'd do well in our colours but I'd love him.

But most of all he's endorsed by endevour as a harmen so you can't argue that.

Article on sportal satyng Mason to to sharks next season. Thoughts? Good for depth IMO

He's been to what? 5 NRL Clubs and a French RU side and been linked to us every time before he left any of them?

Please stop using sportal as a source. They have a full team of dosits working there.

Admittedly there was quotes from Mason himself stating how he has some good mates at the sharks and that he'd fit in well here,

He also goes on to say that he has a few offers from nrl and overseas clubs

steer clear of mason, hes still a **** wit off the field

And you can bank on him sticking the knife in if he's not fond of the joint.

35-36 yr old prop who stays out there for 20mins but probably does 8mins worth of work. Notorious trouble maker. Can divide a group. Too much risk, no where near enough reward anymore.

We got a lot of impressionable youngsters too.

No thanks to Mason. Maybe 10 years ago I would say yes but now now. Got enough experience In our pack. Time to chase some youth up front.

Say No to Mason. He is a mug. Not doing anything on the field that a dime a dozen front rower cant do!

Big yes to his on field contributions but I'm not sure if his off field distractions will be worth it.

Rather make sure we have heino toops and prior sewn up for at least a year, before we go fishing for mason.

We have a lot of old forwards all retiring at the same time. I'd pay 800k for Tapau, don't forget the cap will be going up substantially in 2018.

Jesus thats a lot. I wouldn't give him that and I don't think it would take that. IMO he has a tendency to go missing. But that could just be due to the tigers being ****. I'd give him 5-600k max.

It's not really a lot with the cap going up, that's how you have to look at it.

You have to remember that everyone is going to want a piece of that too though, and every players salary is going to increase not just the marquee players. Is there any confirmation of what it's going up to?
