He's not being bought to. He's depth only. If he gets 3 to 4 games a year and performs OK, it's a win.

If he does any better, it's a massive win.
If he gets no games and plays for Newtown all season, I'm calling it a win.

If we were serious we’d send him on his way for James Fisher Harris
He's 1 bad super coach stint off "what a ****en dud should give up now" or 1 good super coach stint off "gotta give him a jersey"

If he's not in origin talks its just another recruitment mistake from Fitz & shows why we need new assistant coaches.

Can't believe this is who we brought in to replace club legend Wade Graham and promising youngster Teig Wilton

Bloke is 3rd degree at best

Billy Burns is costing us bugger all and last year he played 10 games, 9 of them for the full 80 minutes averaging 44.5 fantasy points, top scoring 67 in one round. 50 is a good fantasy average. I know it’s only fantasy but think of it as an ok bunch of stats to assess a player by which it is, however imperfect.

The guy is not a rookie, not a ******** and not a WIP.

I’m calling Billy Burns an astute signing.

Someone file away my use of the word “astute” so I we can pull it out when Billy Burns becomes the official sharks whipping boy next year.

Hope he kills it, has a season like Jackson Ford. He might start the season on the edge, if Wilton isnt ready. Theyll beef up Calquhoun more to be a middle and Talakai probably remains centre.

Don't be too sensible, everyone must be a star player and you have too pay overs for them like the Tigers

I heard bloke in a bar say the same thing about him starting. I'll be shocked if its anyone but Teig. However, I think Burns will be great competition for the spot, and hopefully drive Teig to his that next level.

Bill is underrated, he is a good kid with plenty of potential to improve 10 fold.
I love Tieg and have him in front of Bill easy but the errors and misses Bill has in his game are no worse than Tiegs.
