Billy Burns is rubbish - he was very poor for the Dragons.
Don't get too excited.

Min wage depth guy where we desperately needed depth. No offence to Burns I think he was a good signing and I hope we don’t see him play NRL.
If we do we’ll be glad we have him.

If true we got him on min wage then that’s a very handy signing. Good depth with a bit of flexibility if required too.

I dunno why you would spend anything more than minimum wage when your two starters are guns. This signing also stops us having to put a middle forward there… although Hazleton hasn’t let us down yet.

I seem to remember him not being terrible. Think he'll surprise a few people by how well he plays for Newtown.

Gotta love when people rubbish minimum wage signings. The salary cap rules say they must sign someone, and they couldn’t have paid him any less. If he plays 3 games next year and isn’t a complete turnstile he’ll have earned his money.

I've merged the Burns and Gabrael threads in to this one.

Let's use this thread as a place to discuss guys who are part of the Sharks squad and over 21, but are yet to play an NRL game in the Black, White and Blue. Anyone still eligible for Flegg or SG Ball let's talk about in the pathways thread.

I reckon once guys get named in the 17 or take the field they can have their own thread (e.g. Atkinson's 2 minutes counts)

Here's a quick list.

Puru
Berrell
Stonestreet
Burns
Hau Tapuha
Waitere
Hosking
O'Kane
Healey
Gibbons
Rodwell

...and so on.
