I like Toops and his form came good in the back part of his Sharks career and him getting over that broken jaw to return to us later in the season was amazing. However the majority of former players taking legal action against us seem to fall into one or all of the below categories:

- talentless hack
- were punted and replaced by someone much better
- no longer have a football career in a mainstream competition
- struggling for work/income

They have a right to explore their legal avenues but the majority if not all of them will never have a NRL career again and I don't think the ASADA drama's really played much part in the outcome of that. I don't know what sort of physical/mental damage the injections and subsequent scandal took on them but I do find it interesting that Gal & Wade stayed on and don't seem to be talking about compensation or legal action (at least not publicly and not recently anyway).

Don't get me wrong, if a club approved some ****wit to shoot me up like a guinea pig I would want answers and compensation too but I do wonder what portion of this is just a cash grab for some struggling former NRL players

Next time he visits the Toup Kitchen I'm going to slip a couple of Ben Ross pills in his drink.

Damage or no damage they would be suing for the lack of duty of care provided at that time.

Why didn't they think of that at the time then? Despite what the media portray these former players as, the fact is they are all grown men who were all capable of making their own choices. They all could've questioned what they were being given and they all could've said no.
