Knowing us we won't be smart enough to.

We have been so busy trying to keep fifita we probably don't have a back up plan.

I thought David Fifita was the back up plan - because he is exactly the same as Andrew?

I really want us to retain Fafita, for the simple fact there are no other rep players on the market that do what he does.

However talk of 800-900k is crazy? He has had 1 outstanding season and prior to that had fitness and motivational issues.

He is worth what the market will pay, but if that is 800k plus how much are the true game changes with track records? Inglis, cam smith, thurston, cherry Evans even Carney? They must be 1.5m players now.

It looks like we're about to lose Fifita and Lichaa to the bulldogs? I know a lot of guys on here reckon Lichaa is overrated, but most good judges, and by that I mean coaches and selectors, think he is the next big thing. Forgive me for taking their word over everyone elses here. I can't see how the delayed announcement on Fifita is for any other reason than that they don't want to disrespectful so close to game day. I was sure we'd keep him, I'm now convinced it's over.

Honestly this club can not take a trick. I support the sharks because I went to primary school in Sutherland and Kirrawee in the 70's. I'm sure my mum had no idea when she enrolled me that she was also enrolling in a lifetime of Rugby League heartache.

Thank god I follow the Seahawks in the NFL, or this year would have too many sporting tears for one guy to take.
