his defensive efforts this year have been under rated cause we focus on his carries

24 tackles made for no misses tonight

you don't do that if you are struggling

could care less about his sin binning when the game was already in the bag in the dying stages
Sin binned tackles saves a try - so I was very happy with it.

He's the alpha, the biggest dog in the yard who everyone loves & respects.

JMo tried to up his own cred by exerting his power over Fifita. Make him sit & wait to eat last. Big dog got unhappy and so did his pack.

Fitz comes & shows the old boy the love. Big dogs tail starts wagging, he loves the coach & listens and the pack follows.
Couldn’t of put it better

There is also the factor that he could have been eating 2 minute noodles with Greg Matterson when he could be eating a nice juicy steak with fitz

Mentioned in his after game interview the great work Steve price has been doing with the teams defense

He's another player written off preseason who is just doing his job perfectly

But wade should play for the gymea gorillas

Big dog is still hungry & coach is giving him just as much as he needs right now.

I just came on here to mention this same thing!
Steve Price...what a blessing it is to have him back in coaching staff.

Absolutely love Fif but I was one that had him written off.

Not entirely from playing first grade, just more finding his way in the team. Man it’s good to see him out on the field though, and he’s playing good footy. When he’s on the field I’m not even stressing about a missed tackle/error/penalty either.

Credit to him getting back to this form after everything that’s happened.

Jumping across from 3-2-1 thread

Soft spot Bort, Enthusiasm and tried hard game overall and nrly jagged at least 1 try. I'm probably biased for him Although there was at least one time tigers cldve spotted him in D, that Storm won't miss
Yeah I'm thinking I'd like to see him only do around 20 for Storm game, last 10 of first half and start of second half. Maybe find another 5ish at the end if it fits our rotations.
They are too smart not to abuse him if he starts to fatigue and also too clinical to be pushed around by him as soon as he is much less than 100% which in my mind only leaves a very small window for him to be effective. Bring good energy to team to start second half too, then get him back off.

That penalty Fifs give away almost made me hurl the remote through the screen. So obvious and always going to be given.

He's been doing well but that hands on the ball in the ruck stuff is well past expiry.

Yep that was disappointing. You can't give the Storm cheap penalties like that.
