Interesting how you aren't sure but are happy to let it slide.

Whereas you aren't sure about Fifitas intentions but happy to persecute.

Move along muppet.

I didnt let it slide, I didnt hear about it in media so assuming that these were not brutal killings they were involved in. If they did I would be equally repulsed , but lets not get bogged down with hypotheticals, what others may or may not have done doesnt lessen what Fifita did.

Absolute ****ing rubbish.

I guess you believe that every person owes something to every other individual who is also less privileged than them?

Why don't you chip in some money to my family savings account while you are at it.

We owe each other basic respect and common courtesy, especially to families to have suffered tragedy. How you twisted what I wrote into donating money ill leave to the great philosophical minds.

Its easier to blame the media for everything than to accept responsibilty
Was it illegal. No. bad taste? Yes.
Buts It's a free society, we have free speech (supposedly),
If it was my mate who killed the guy, terrible incident no question,
I'd still support him. Who know what this guys had gone through.
He is obviously a ******** but that doesn't mean society has to give
Up in him. Do we just throw people away? I feel for the Kelly's I really do
But to say Andrew can't support his mate, who is going to live with
And pay for his actions for the rest of his life is ridiculous.
he made a terrible, horrible almost unforgivable mistake yes,
But if people I the public eye are not allowed to support friend who are or were
Criminals, no matter what they did, then there must be a ****load
Of people out there that need to be cautioned.

Until you can categorically display that what he has done condones what FKL did, condones violence and is a disrespectful action towards the Kelly Family, move along.

As someone earlier mentioned at this point in time the facts are.

He has been visiting his long time friend in jail.
He has been warned to not associate with him.
He has written 3 letters that no one knows the meaning of on his arm band during an early part this season.

As previously mentioned, he has every right to support a friend and the Kelly family have every right to be offended if they deem fit. You are obviously offended by it without knowing its meaning or intention and probably have little interest as it would detract from your excitement generated by the media hype.

You strike me as one of the bleating heart slacktivists which leads to the quip about looking after everyone in the world and giving them a cuddle or money, whichever is easier for you.

If FKL actually does stand for "free Kieran Loveridge" then there really is no excuse.

Your mates are your mates but don't write something like that on your strapping. That is in very poor taste. Keep that to yourself. It's a shocking look for the club.

Hear me out for a second.

What if he had it tattooed? What would you say then.

It's quite obscure. It's a couple of letters. It's not like he's actually written it and it's not like he went out and said anything along those lines. It's a couple of letters on strapping. It may just have meaning to him. It's no one else's business really.

In your head, rent free
Why havent the police and the NRL issues notices to the entire NRL playing roster for consorting with Manu Ma'u, Russell Packer and Danny Wicks?

Nearly every player has some kind of code or letters scribbled across their strapping (and body with tattooing). Do we sit there and make guesses about the meaning behind each and every one of them?

Nobody knew what it meant back then, prob nobody suspected it was tacit support for a convicted crook, and a savage one at that. Obviously now we know, hence the revulsion.

I have no problem with Fifita hanging out with crooks and murderers, hes prob good mates with Martin Bryant as well and offers him emotional support to help him get through hard times, but dont in any way make it public.

Exactly. This idiot needs to stick to league. The Sharks would have written into every players contract that politics such as this should be kept out of the game and media eye. He's walking thin ice.

I'm actually surprised it's not outlawed by the NRL.

They've had issues before with players writing offensive things on strapping.

But of course then you'll get the other side of the argument instantly, that the game no longer allows for any personality.

Hence the "If". It's three letters, and no one knows what it means but him. But he knows what the media are like, and that people might speculate over what it means.

Yeah mate it's obvious to everyone what it means. It's three letters but it is evident now.

There's no excuse to write it. It's poor taste. Common sense should have kicked in but hey, this is Fifita we're talking about. I'm sick of defending the bloke.

And I don't agree with the notion that it's the media's fault. Everyone knows what the media are like. They tend to dig up stuff, leak stuff and beat up stuff that isn't a big deal in the scheme of things. However it is a big deal for the clubs image and Fifita should have thought about the possibility of this getting out when he wrote it on his arm.
