So if it is 6wk & $30K how was that reached without the board meeting and why? It seems we've taken a long time ensuring we follow the correct processes only to skip what I'd have thought to be a pretty important process.

I think initially they were probably waiting for that junior league appeal.

Maybe they were originally thinking about booting him? He was given a show cause notice which would indicate he was in danger of being sacked, I think. Maybe they just thought **** it, we'll just give him a fine and suspension and move on. They can probably dish out punishment without him actually having to front the board. And, the board members probably had other **** on tonight.

Sounds like 4 weeks is the expectation for David.

Disappointing he won't get match practice in before the finals. 6 weeks definitely too much, but yeah we move on. Hopefully we can win at least 2 of our last 5 without him and make the 8. Seems like not too hard a task seeing we play the eels and tigers in there, but hey I've seen us lose many games in the past that we've been expected to win...I'll try and stay positive though.

The most obvious media bias about this is that everything has been about Andrew. Not both of them.

Also that every report mentions junior match or junior ref......makes it much more dramatic than saying a 24 year old ref in an A grade match
