Are you sure your last name is Kent or Rothfield lol.

The statement from LG and the NRL seems as though there maybe more to this actually the NRL release says as much lets just see what happens.
Very sure. Threatening referees is frowned upon in Australia.

Hope you're right mate

Going by the NRL statement they think maybe more to it and that could be possibly so.
Think I will just leave it to as I said LG and the NRL to work out that's what they are there for oh and has anyone seen the video as yet?

Absolutely dumb for putting themselves in this situation but I will say it again they are League players not the smartest guys in the world.

Klemmer abused and physically intimidated an official in an NRL gamr nationally televised for all to see and gets 3 weeks.

If either of the brothers get more than 3 weeks its an absolute joke.

You can't touch a ref, let alone threaten one. Steve Roach got 4 weeks for patting a ref on the head in the 80s and they were pretty lenient times. Threatening a ref is a cardinal sin and much much more serious than swearing at them or being insubordinate.

Would this have happened if the Ref had not pulled his phone inciting the issue further?

The NRL and the Club will act on this when the have the full story not by what is written in the media and I am happy with that.

I was hoping the fact he played today, the real truth might slant more in his favour. ( was it confirmed David missed the game through his indiscretion)

I haven't seen that confirmed anywhere regarding David not playing today due to his indiscretion. On the contrary, a TV report I saw claimed the decision for David to be rested was made on Friday night prior to the incident even taking place.
Not saying I believe that necessarily - it's simply once source of info/spin

He's an idiot this bloke. Give him a spell on the sidelines.
Should have been dropped weeks ago for his undisciplined play even before the off field incident

Would not have been wasting an interchange. Heinington and prior can play long minutes too. Should have been hooked after 15.

Interesting that in round 1 Sam Thaiday, a current international gave away three penalties. Wayne Bennett dropped him the next week and gave him a kick up the butt. Thaiday has been playing great football ever since.

Flanagan on the other hand.

Can't believe Flanno hasn't sacked Afita. Send him on his way and give him a sustained ear flicking I say!

Circle the pharken wagons and don't let the NRL or the tabloids make an example out of some of our best bloody players.

If this were James Graham - someone who gives **** to the refs every week live on TV - we wouldn't be seeing this reaction. The 'world is against us woe is us' thing is usually just plain delusional but its equally delusional that different Clubs and players carry more clout in this ****fest and we're perrenially face down in the mud. The media will milk this for all its worth because its juicy and its an easy target.

So circle the pharken wagons and address it according to our bloody timetable. The boys probably fugged up but its hardly the worst accusation made in the last week so fine em, get them to make an apology and do some promotional work about not being a dick at local RL. Done, move on and for Sludge's sake don't let this be any bigger than what it is - storm in a teacup.

That lowlife gutter journo, not content with the drama his first article did, he's now picking his time to further sink the knife in by making us look like we covered up other ****.

Seriously rothfield you're a ****. You hate fifita for calling you a deadbeat and telling you that you're not a fan. You assassinated carney and now you're out to take fifita down. ****ing scumbag. You're in for a spray when I see you and your chromosome-deficient kids at the Upper ET next home game.

Yes. Yes. Yes. Even though Fifita doesn't play the ball properly it was obvious yesterday that the refs were out to get him. I thought that Graham spoke badly to the refs all game. Nothing will be said. Circle the wagons. P Kent and Buzz are after our blood again. Circle the wagons.
