i reckon RJJ will make Green look silly, similar to what Mundine did. Greens always struggled against fast boxers and counter punchers.

Choc never gave green a chance.

Green was all " I want mundine! I want mundine!!" for the 3 yrs leading up to the bout, and mundine beat him easy, as much as I dont like mundine I found it amusing.

I predict RJJ to completely destroy him.

He`s a parra supporter anyway, bugger him.

Green probably is a top bloke, Murph, but that won't help him on Wendesday. I hope he wins, but I don't think he will.

Either way I'm looking forward to it.

Green to be knocked out! ROY JONES JR FOR THE WIN!!

i met him in sydney years ago before the Beyer rematch, and yeah he is a really nice guy, very down to earth. Unfortunatley being a really nice guy doesnt neccessarily equate to him being able to win this fight.

Dont get me wrong I will be cheering Danny on, but I honestly think he is gunna get whooped.

Dannys never been the same since his meltdown against Sullivan in perth.

Roy Jones is past it but probably still too good for Green.

Jones will knock him out, his hands are too fast.

Even though Jones is well past his prime days, he is still way to quick for Green. Jones is still another level above Mundine when he fought Green. And we all know how much Green struggled to contain Mundine and his quick jabs. But Green is saying he is in the best shape of his life, but i spose 90% of fighters say that leading into their biggest fight of their life.

Good call boys! Let me know who is your pick to win the Premiership next year so I can back against them!:lmao:lmao

When I first heard Green was making a comeback I didnt give him a chance, I thought " oh the poor bloke, why doesnt he just stay retired, hes only going to do his reputation damage by trying to make an unsuccessful comeback"

He is now better than ever, and in some way, I feel he is too good to fight Mundine, Mundine is wasting his time fighting nobodys, and contender contestants, green shouldnt waste his time.

Im so glad he proved me wrong, this is a great example that no matter what has happened to the sharks in the past 12 months, in the next season or two our best season may not be out of reach!

Lets just say Im very, very, very glad there isnt any funds in my sportsbet account right now, it would have been a long night otherwise lol.

5 dollars on a green knockout in the first round and 20 on him to win... I get in return 475 dollars. Thank you danny, thank you.

I should mention I did not expect a first round knock out I did it just cause of the odds.

With over 1500 posts it seems you don't practice that too often.

as if that fight wasnt rigged...

Yeah, fancy someone getting punched in the head and (technically) knocked out in a boxing match.

Crikey you can talk out your arse sometimes, peaches. Are you really gonna judge the man's career on whats probably his last fight at 40 years old?

What a joke of a fight

eh, so much for one of the worlds best, gets the ***** knocked out of him in 122 seconds

Are you bloke serious? Have you ever actually done any fighting? What Green has achieved in this fight is nothing short of spectacular. Roy JJ is a future Hall of Fame fighter and Green took him apart with the skill of a surgeon finished with the devastation of a Great White on the attack. That is strategy at it's finest my friends. Green knew he wouldn't win a boxing match with this guy, he had to take him down in a brutal assault on he did it to perfection.
The attack on Jones after the initial knockdown gives me goosebumps. Green throws everything at him, he is leaving nothing in reserve.

:good:
