Yeah it was. Always had a soft spot for them.
We could use a coach like Luke Beveridge at the Sharks. Came in late, no time to shape the roster or the coaching staff and heaps of outside pressure and he's turned them round and got em playing a positive, dangerous style of footy. He's a winner.

Yeah I flicked over and watched the last couple of minutes, the league game was already decided by then.
Pretty exciting game. Hawks kicked what would have been the winning goal but the siren blew just before his foot connected with the ball.

Rocket is not the man for the GC. I'm astounded they didn't go for Bomber Thompson. Seriously. Multiple premiership winning coach, wanted the job... weird.
Basically went the Ricky line and said he doesn't have the cattle. Which is probably true.

Yep very weird. The game has passed Rocket by, that was kind of evident during his last year or two at Footscray.
He doesn't have the cattle but that's why he was brought in. Unfortunately the issues go much deeper than that. The club has been run as a boy's club for far too long and it doesn't look like changing.
On the player front I'd be looking to trade at least one of Murphy or Gibbs. Neither has lived up to the early hype of being number one draft picks.
