I love how there's still stuff to get interested in post season in the AFL. I wish the NRL was the same.

Interesting that there is now a full bye weekend wedged between the last round and first week of finals. Don't know about that. I realise they'de done it to stop teams from resting players in the last round but the season will lose a bit of momentum for mine.

Fkn Sheedy and Essendon. Like this teams needs another marquee game.

Nothing says country like to Melbourne teams going at it at the MCG.

Week 1 on the NRL finals will now get a boost possibly.

Loving the new Melbourne logo.

They should always just have gone with the monogram last time they changed to that cluster**** of too many ideas.

Take away 'Melbourne' and the half arsed shield, and just have the monogram and its perfect.

Lions killed it. Carlton and Essendon did well but it was almost possible for them not to. Melbourne were lucky that they got the key forward they wanted at their second pick.

Dockers and Port got a couple of highly rated kids who slid.

How did the Swans fair?

Well we got Mills who looks as good as any 18 year old mid can. So barring injury he will make it a winner of a draft regardless of the others.

The other two were pretty typically out of left field. Also typical that they're medium types. More than anything though Club needs leg speed and kicking ability badly and that's what they reckon they went for. Leonardis is a quick wingman and Dawson a medium forward who i reckon will grow into a real powerhouse - got a big frame and still growing.

Probably disappointed a few by not getting in a mature KPD like Mitch Btown but they obviously think they've got that covered with the addition of Talia (who I think is a stinker).
