Jesus Christ. This forum has become exactly what I dreaded it would. I remember reading back in 09, a news article about the Bulldogs forum and how members bullied and persecuted each other, supporters of their own club. It made no sense to me whatsoever. Now this is where we're heading.

After such a great win today, why can't we all get along?

I absolutely appreciate EVERY member in this forum. I have said some things in my earlier days that deserved a life ban and possible legal ramifications. I am grateful for member's forgiveness and admit I have been wrong many times.

I want to show my support and appreciation for Fitz and the work that he puts in to this site, and in particular the genuine care I remember him showing towards members in distress.

I don't know the details of the rift or disputes that are going on between members, I don't even know the reasons why I'm posting this. I just wish we could all get along.

I'd like to think we are all good people, and I can't wait to see as many of you as possible in Melbourne at the end of the home and away season!

As much as I think this forum has lost the plot in many ways the last year or so, especially with a lot of the comments people make about and towards each other going to the club to complain about an internet forum is a bit much.

I don't think Cranky's been incoherent. What exactly did they say to be banned? Yes people seem to take offence to a lot of things these days, but it's not up to us to decide whether we've upset someone else or not. Maybe we need less subjective guidelines than "don't be a jerk". I'm pretty sure most of us have been guilty of that one already.

Why? The ONE poster is the site owner and gave me a life ban.

It was the only avenue to regain access to the forum. It wasn't done lightly.

You wrote a letter to the club, so You could gain access again to this forum in which You feel your being abused.

Maybe the best course of action would have been to talk directly to the person who banned you or another mod.

I've never been banned from a forum but what's stopping you from accessing from a different IP or MAC address and contacting the admin ?

Instead you reached out to the club itself and potentially could have had the forum shut down for all of us. What would that have achieved ? Nothing you should be proud of that's for sure.

I know your passionate about our great Club and This Fantastic Forum that you helped set up and in your view has deteriorated .
BUT , don't you think you should lead by example . Rather then revert to the very behavior you find unsavory ?

mate I think you're a good poster and I respect your opinions but there really is no need to go to the club about the forum. It has nothing to do with them just like all the circle jerk Facebook groups out there.

Fitz would have probably let you back anyway. Hell he has let me back twice now when he didn't have to. And I'm the last person he wants on this forum

this won't do any good mate besides cause a bunch of in house fighting for no reason and you shouldn't feel guilty as no one forced cranky to stick up for you
