Who will police the police?

I have been in contact with the club over Fitz's homophobic and anti transgender posts. 'This is the motivation behind the thread.

I received a life ban without reason for calling out his homophobic bullying and LGBT vitriol and remain in contact with the club regarding his errant behaviour. Unsurprisingly the club was not willing to be associated with his behaviour in any way although they asked that I be reinstated. Whilst he lays claim that he can behave as he pleases as an individual legally independent of the club, he may not use the club as a platform for hating on people, gay or otherwise.

I received no apology for his abuse.

I will likely receive a life ban for posting this. I thank the club for stepping in, however I note I did not receive an apology.

Admin or not, this is an independent forum. I wouldn't hope our comments or actions had nothing to do with the club itself - hence my signature.

I'm not belittling your crusade in the slightest, i'm just wondering why you thought it was necessary to take it to that "extreme".

If the issue is the "policing" of the forum... I for one suggest we do something about it. In comparison to a a few of the other forums i am apart of i must say that this is a forum with the most amount of leeway when it comes to the rules.

I don't want this forum to become a political correct Nazi death zone, but I'm sure there are a lot more passive ways to deal with this sort of thing.

There are a lot of dicks on this forum and i may be one of them but there has to be a better way to deal with these problems than creating a new thread every week and carrying on with the same crap.

Why? The ONE poster is the site owner and gave me a life ban.

It was the only avenue to regain access to the forum. It wasn't done lightly.
