Now just need the Kayo app on the TV to make the streaming work better and I'm all in.

Does anyone else think the appeal of watching live sport on TV has peaked and is actually dying?
I used to watch quite a bit with a mix of different sport depending on what was on. Now I really only watch Cronulla games. I fill my TV time with Netflix and the other general subscription services.
I don't know if it's just a personal thing or whether it's a wider trend.
It is really bad when the commentators get stuck in a loop trashing the game. If ref makes a mistake mention it and move on... let other elements of the media and the fans worry about ranting how bad the refs are (or any other issue), the commentators job is to help the fan enjoy and understand what they are watching. If we had better commentators (e.g.positive ones) things may be different. I think it's a deep issue in the game that could effect it in the next couple of decades.

Agree. I can't think of another sport, that I watch anyway, where refs are spoken about so often.
A League is pretty bad - fans, media and commentators all talk trash about decisions, bias, VAR ect. blame it for losses ever week.
but NRL is the reigning and deserved champ
watching the lower grades or alternative sports is a relief without all that officiating drama and constant KFC video referral and knob head commentators. just feels like sport ya know, instead of another episode of garbage reality TV
at least it gives us good memes

My TV doesn't have the Kayo app available in the menu (like how you can just start Netflix or Youtube through the TV remote), so I have use Chromecast (which constantly stutters and buffers) or do the Samsung phone to TV screencast thingy. That second one works okay but isn't full screen, and sucks the life out of my phone battery.
Ah OK. Buy yourself a box mate like Vodafone TV, Apple TV or others.
I used Chromecast with Kayo for about a week and got sick of it. Use Vodafone TV now which was $70 when I bought it.
That would be the best idea. I'm just being a tight arse by not wanting to shell out one for each TV.
A-League presentation gets stick and rightfully so. The on field product however, that criticism is a little bit unfair. The quality isn’t as low as people make it out to be, especially Sydney FC, some of their football is tremendous.

Kayo just popped up on my 3 month old sumsung tv 1 January. Think Samsung and Sony are the only two that has so far done a deal with kayo .My TV doesn't have the Kayo app available in the menu (like how you can just start Netflix or Youtube through the TV remote), so I have use Chromecast (which constantly stutters and buffers) or do the Samsung phone to TV screencast thingy. I'm off all streaming...individually their pricing is good but $14 + $25 + $11 a month and suddenly I'm paying ****loads for more and watching each less.
ABC radio for me now. They truly make a **** game interesting, or at least humorous.
