It didn't last long though, he's killing it this year. If your players aren't up to it mentally that's a problem.

I want as many players as possible involved.
Yep, Like I said it’s a logical theory.

As I get older I think I’m getting more glass is half full type… actually there is **** all left in that glass 😂 ah the joy of supporting the Sharks

Is Cleary going to struggle to get in as the half back role next year considering how well Moses played this series or will they simply drop Moses again & put Cleary straight back in if he is fit next series haha?

Slater didn't pick our best possible team & it didn't help having Tino, Munster, Coates, Flegler & Gilbert all out injured unfortunately. Fifita should have been picked over Capewell & Ponga should have been FB over Walsh imo. Walsh is not hard enough for Origin yet imo.
Probably not, which is a shame. Moses' kicking game is superior and he lacks nothing in any other department. I'd argue Moses' long kicking game won us the series.

Cleary is the best player in the game when fit. He's first picked if he's available. Moses to play 6.
Cleary plays in the best NRL team in the game... Still, for Origin, I think the only thing seperating them is the kicking game, and Moses pips Cleary for mine.

I don't really like the Moses/Cleary combo. And as much as I was okay with losing Luai I think he's proven his worth to the team and won't be dropped now.

As people are rightly pointing out, we probably won't have to choose. Injury will. It's great to have this depth though

Agree to disagree. I'd take Cleary over Moses 10/10. I think they'll work fine together too

Rewatched the game last night. Moses was kicking nearly 60m as opposed to DCE 35m. Definitely was the difference in games 2 and 3

Yeah his kicking game is amazing. Burton's long kicking game got the Dogs out of trouble repeatedly against us. So valuable.

Imo this has a lot to do with the NRL’s dumb “don’t touch the kicker” crackdown. Sharks would dominate the Dogs in defence and then just take 3 steps from marker in Burton’s general direction. If you can’t kick pressure these guys they get a free pass to boom one down field.

Not hating on anyone’s opinions (well few are just embarrassing) but whenever u need to decide between Cleary and Moses just watch last years grand final.
