I love Wighton, 100% an Origin player. If you're picking on form you're not picking Best. Whilst he hasn't been bad, someone like Wighton is in way better form in a worse team.

Me too, I had my doubts about him moving to centre but he has been immense. I think playing him in the centres could also give Madge some freedom to pick two hookers if required.I love Wighton, 100% an Origin player.
I think they will need two, pretty sure they'll go with Api and he can't play 80.Me too, I had my doubts about him moving to centre but he has been immense. I think playing him in the centres could also give Madge some freedom to pick two hookers if required.
Yep. Brings in an argument for picking a second rower who could cover centre too. Someone like Crichton wouldn't be a bad shout.I think they will need two, pretty sure they'll go with Api and he can't play 80.
Apart from Wighton being a gun he can cover almost every position on the field bar prop. Love him.
Yeah he's been in good form.Yep. Brings in an argument for picking a second rower who could cover centre too. Someone like Crichton wouldn't be a bad shout.
Yeah I think the bench needs someone who can cover the edge, and if you have that and a hooker sub, Cam misses out.Yeah he's been in good form.
If they go with a hooker on the bench I think that rules Cam out, bench would be a bit light on for mine.
Might be higher in the pecking order than you thinkJesse is comfortably better than Suaalii, it's not even close.
There's absolutely nothing there egg that suggests he'll be pickedMight be higher in the pecking order than you think

Joseph Suaalii will be considered for NSW selection for the 2024 State of Origin series despite his defection to rugby union at the end of the year.
Suaalii will switch to the rival code on a $5 million deal that runs from 2025 to 2027, making himself available for the Waratahs at Super Rugby level and the Wallabies for both next year’s British and Irish Lions tour and the next World Cup.
That decision has raised questions over whether he should be picked for State of Origin, given the publicity Rugby Australia will garner from his selection.
However, new Blues coach Michael Maguire will give consideration to handing Suaalii his NSW debut for the opening game on June 5 at Accor Stadium. Sources with knowledge of the situation, not permitted to speak on the record given the squad is yet to be finalised, told this masthead that Suaalii will be part of a Blues camp of up to 40 players who will gather at NSWRL headquarters on February 3-4.
Maguire will address the star-studded line-up about his expectations as they attempt to prevent the Maroons from winning three consecutive series. The premiership-winning coach has history with Suaalii from their time together at South Sydney, when the then-teenager was the hottest schoolboy property of his generation.
I think you'd have to admit after reading the below that as of February Suaalii had the inside running compared to Jesse ?There's absolutely nothing there egg that suggests he'll be picked
Mate February was ages ago, Jesse has been much better this season than him.I think you'd have to admit after reading the below that as of February Suaalii had the inside running compared to Jesse ?

Did Madge have it all wrong when he chose the 36 ?
