Good win in the wet with big games on the horizon. We had every excuse to be off our game but turned up and got the result.

No one remembers or cares that the Panthers only just beat the cowboys, or storm only just beat the dogs and titans. They only remember who took the two points.

FWIW, I love the bloke he's one of my favourite players but FMD that was very ordinary.

They have there 7 and 1 out, the 6 has a dodgy groin..we lose we look like idiots

Apart from the inexcusable missed penalty why was it that bad?

All his possession change overs in attack down their end resulted in change overs 5 out.

There was the one six again but that was luck in the Dragons end as Sloan opted not to catch it. Could have easily bounced back our way.

I didn't say refs were shocking, they policed the ruck very tightly on both teams, maybe some lenience was warranted due to the conditions. Everything got pinged but at least it seemed to go both ways. Annoying that you will watch another NRL game and alot more is let go it's kinda random at times.

Don't get me wrong they missed some calls on both teams &/or might have got wrong, wasn't a great showing from the officials

But it made a already tight and sluggish game all the more kinda frustrating to watch but if we have rules I ain't gunna rag on a ref for enforcing them and blowing the whistle but i think he was too quick and eager to blow it sometimes.

Dragons showed up and defended, was a tough game, especially that first half, maybe we could have played the conditions a bit better or maybe it really was just that tough out there to put it all together. Was happy we stuck it out and stayed patient and had a good response from the boys in the second half.

We still had a number of good performers
