FWIW, I love the bloke he's one of my favourite players but FMD that was very ordinary.
FWIW I love the guy too. He is well spoken and great for the game as well as being a fantastic role model.

I just think he is better suited in other positions.

Apart from the inexcusable missed penalty why was it that bad?

All his possession change overs in attack down their end resulted in change overs 5 out.

There was the one six again but that was luck in the Dragons end as Sloan opted not to catch it. Could have easily bounced back our way.

I thought it was much worse to be honest. Thought his kicks were hit or miss. Maybe I'm being too harsh.
Or maybe his game today wasn't as crisp as it's been in recent weeks and I'm lumping kicks and decision making together in one big bag.
His defense was good though. Has been since the start of the season.

I know the conditions were not the best but surely a ref can't use the conditions for having such an ordinary game , I was lost on why he gave a lot of decisions , especially in the first half .
But hey we won , and that's all that matters .

Well it was ugly but it’s a win. Dragons definitely came to play and we always knew the wet conditions would bring the teams closer together. Even though the scores were close, I was still confident we could get the job done and win the game.

I think a lot of beer gets drunk during the game thread. Some of the things that were written were just totally out of this world and ridiculous. Yeah I know the refereeing again wasn’t brilliant but we just have to get over that. I’d love to see how big the thread would be if we took out all the comments out about the refereeing. Yeah I know I put a picture of Todd Smith in the thread but that was just a joke.

And the usual suspects just cannot stop laying into Nicho. I can certainly understand why he’s taking more control at the moment. He’s got a rookie 5/8 there and he’s allowing him to gain some time in first grade to get used to things. If this means Nicho has to take more control then so be it. Yep, wasn’t his best game with a few errors, but all these people saying he’s not a 7 need to tell us who else do we play at 7. Obviously not Tricky as he is out for awhile.

Let’s move on to Melbourne next week and see how we go. It’ll be a whole new game and I’m sure Fitz will have the side ready.

And has missed touch a couple times this year already.

Coach and fan killer for sure.
