More than double the punishment we gave Trindall who was fined more in court and blew alcohol in his system.
If the courts had actually cared Mum veered straight into oncoming traffic injuring people then NRL would have had a better leg to stand on to punish him more.

That is the most ****ed thing I have ever heard from the NRL.
This has just completely paved the way moving forward for any similar instances. Weak as ****ing piss!

Wiping him out for 1/3 of the season is probably about right. In comparison to what the court gave him you could say the League’s punishment was excessive. We also don’t know what the monetary part of his NRL punishment is yet – somehow I don’t reckon he will get change from $1000 on this fine.
The NRL can’t win here. Because of the absolute bullshit punishment handed down by the court there is a thirst among the public to see this guy cop it. But it is not the job of the NRL to clean up after the “justice” system fails. If they try to satisfy the public by going extra hard on Mam they are basically letting the punters on Twitter and Facebook run the show.

These 'alleged' journos' must be on holidays early so they recruit there pre teen kids to fill in for them.There is some real rubbish in there
