Worse than last year.

We are dog ****.

How we are top 4 I’ll never know.
Besides the way the ladder is read.

NRL is a joke and so are we.
Some people think because you win you can’t be critical lol

Those are the types of people that accept average

Happy with the win and the 2 points of course but despite the score, that game left a bad taste in my mouth.

Not sure why anyone's surprised at this point. We have enough of a sample size to know where this team sits.

We have enough strike to score points against anyone, but we do it when we have momentum and the ball bounces our way. This obviously means with the more opportunities that we get against poor sides, we get the wins more consistently.

What we're not, is a disciplined, patient and clinical side. Not for lack of smarts, because we clearly can identify and exploit weaknesses like in the saints game, but it's just that patience to keep sticking to a plan. Combine this with a consistently leaky defence and we are what we are. A mid range team, that will finish higher than our overall ability due to the quality of our attack.

Our biggest lack IMO is around on field leadership. Someone who can motivate with their actions the way Gal/Fifita/and to a lesser extent Maloney did for us. Nicho is getting there, and will hopefully be that guy over the next few years, but in the forwards we don't really have it. Finucane was supposed to be that guy, but it hasn't really worked out, despite his obvious benefits around the group and training etc.

I thought we had all the momentum and were pretty disciplined, far more than normal.

We struggled for 40 or 50 mins, their spine had a rookie fullback, Smith's first game in top grade this season playing in the halves to partner Wakeham who isnt that great, Simpkins who is more of a bench rotation hooker, then the bench had a debutant 18 yr old hooker, and blore whos been stuck in reserve grade. Tigers players are playing for their futures now, theyre cleaning house, probably why they showed some fight.
