Imagine being a Sharks fan circa 2014, traveling in a time machine and seeing this carry-on over a positive 36-12 score against anyone...
Context and situation make both years completely different with opposite expectations.

Or seeing Chad Townsend blow a 4 on 1 against the Dogs by kicking, time travelling to here and seeing people whinging about our half with a try, three try assists and two linebreak assists.

All fair points, but we do follow a professional sports team. You're never completely happy/content unless you're always winning.

We are all clearly less miserable than 2014.

That's wild.

You'd only be more shocked when you researched where Chaddy is now and saw the score in his last game. 😂

You’ve been a sharks a very long time, I’m surprised you weren’t just a little worried the sharks could throw that game away
Haha I hear you but that Tigers' team is trash mate. I was surprisingly calm last night.

The real stuff starts now.

I know you wrote this before knowing the outcome but; no, they can't. It might've looked tight at 12 all but they were never a chance over 80 unless we coughed up huge amounts of possession.

Nicho brings his kicking boots & we're a try off putting 50 on them. We didn't thrash em pretty & were poor defensively in some areas but it wasn't close.

Need I remind you that this lot beat a full strength Penrith earlier this year? Dont ever tell me it isn’t possible that any team can beat another in this league, because you know its happened time and time again. There is every chance the Tigers could of turned us over last night if the players hadn’t reacted to being blasted by Fitz at half time.

You're so negative. It wasn't impressive tonight however we won, let's see how the rest of season unfolds. You don't win premierships in July or August, you put yourself in a position peaking to win it in September. If we are currently playing poorly then that means there is plenty of upside despite leading points FOR and 2nd in F/A.
I don’t why anybody bothers to respond to sooks like Milky

Yeah there was no threat of losing.

The danger was always gonna be whether the Tigers the could make a game of it.

They were always gonna improve from last week.

In the game at halftime, out of the game by full time was about right.

Its extremely telling for the tigers that their opponent can be running at 75% and still put 7 tries on them.

Not much for us to be positive about in the scheme of the season, i think any top 8 side accounts for us pretty easy the way we played, however i dont expect us to go into a top 8 match up half assed.

Good win, was expected, now we wait for all the headlines next week about not being able to beat a top 8 side…

At the end of the day. It's a win. That's good. However, I can't see us doing anything more than making up the numbers again.

We're not going to beat The Storm, Souths, Penrith or any other decent team.

Seems we had a simple game plan last night, a semi final type game plan, run hard, tackle hard, kick to the corners and complete, we dominated field positions with ease, now we need to do this against the better teams

Thought the 2 tigers bench forwards had a fair crack when they came on, the tigers weren't that bad last night.

And our fake half back who needs a nsw cup 5/8 to help him did well to have them bringing the ball out from there end of the field for most of the night

Our defence is still our BIGGEST concern

Before last night, the Tigers have conceded 30 points in a game twice only this season.
I didn't believe this but then looked it up. My god you're right lol.

Awkward win, take the 2 points and forget it ever happened. We get our chance against the top teams in the coming weeks.

I love how some people already “know” that we’re not going to do anything at the business end of the season.

There’s a massive 8 week run home/post origin period coming up for ALL teams.

Of course we have to improve/build. But that’s the same for everyone else.

People forget because of the last two weeks that tigers have actually put up a fighting in more games than not.
Last night was only their 5th bad loss which isn’t too many for the team last on the ladder.
The previous two games being two of those where they were without Brooks who had found decent form. Their game against us they brought Smith in… I thought he played okay too, better than Laurie or Toa last two weeks
