I liked the tigers stuck it to us for the first 40 minutes of the game. At least we come out of the sheds with a game plan and a reset. One thing I noticed (need some burgo fun facts) in the second 20 of the first half, we seriously struggled to get their big boys on the ground. Bateman as well must be such a naturally strong guy wrestled williams couple times and is able to pin a tackler and get a penalty. We won we move on, early post season acid test next Sunday.

Seesaws go up & down. Tigers never had a lead on us & it was only 12 all for 5mins before we were back in front where we stayed.

Were you an only child? Playing on a seesaw by yourself?
True, let’s say the momentum was switching between both sides in that first half.

Then they had that disallowed try that would’ve made it 16-18 that was a rough call

I don’t think Katoa scored that last try, looks like it left his hand at the last second

Give a good side like Warriors opportunities and theyll roll us in the first half and get on with it in the second. Real test at Mt Smart, against a bigger forward pack and a good spine, SJ and Metcalf will be up for it
Don't give the Warriors too much credit , match them thru the middle and they have very little out wide , the Rabbits done a job on them doing just that . That's one of the reason's SJ is having such a good year . We handed the Warriors too much ball in our own half when they came back and beat us .

Even though it was bog boring, I'm really happy with the way we approached this game. Rather than throw it around looking for points from the first set, we settled into the controlled style we'll need for the tougher teams. Nice job Fitzy

Wins a win, but they havent been all too convincing last 3 weeks against dogs, dragons and tigers, all 3 struggling teams with injuries and in-house issues, all wooden spoon contenders were in it at stages in the first half against us.
It's an 80min game & by the 80th min we were well in front. Its pro footy, rarely does 1 team come out & immediately have it all their way. Those sides aimed up early but couldn't go with us for anywhere near long enough - same way most top side v bottom side matches go, bottom side gives it everything for as long as they can, top side keeps to the processes & absorbs it all till the lesser mob fade away & the cream rises. Storm used to do this to nearly everyone having it close at 60 & a 30+ gap after 80.

I kind of don't mind we are out of byes and headed into a more challenging run. We need to be pushed through back end of the season if we are going to develop into a team that has some fight in it
Yeah completely. I feel like if we were to challenge we need the momentum and confidence. I really do think we are a bit like the Tigers 05 side at the moment. Not saying we will win, just a confidence based attacking side that needs momentum.

I don't think that's true at all.
If it’s suits his agenda, then it’s true. I have to admit I don’t know why he hasn’t ****ed off to St George yet so he can be with his buddy Flanno again.

The way he’s death riding us at the moment is crazy. People, I think we have a spy in the camp! 😆

Need I remind you that this lot beat a full strength Penrith earlier this year? Dont ever tell me it isn’t possible that any team can beat another in this league, because you know its happened time and time again. There is every chance the Tigers could of turned us over last night if the players hadn’t reacted to being blasted by Fitz at half time.
Riff missing JFH and Leniu, but more importantly Tigs had Brooks and Api. Tigs were playing well for a period off the back off Api and some good for form for Brooks. They aren't that team at the moment.

Also wasn't it torrential rain? Which is always a leveler.

That's a good way to look at it.
