Actually enjoyed Ch9 a LOT last week with Fatty commentating on Bronc Storm game ( No Gus )

That's strange mate. I normally find Kayo much more HD than watching it on Ch 9 (except for the HD channels).
The Fox commentators are OK - I don't like Dan Ginnane, he's not biased, but he just annoys me with things he says sometimes and I don't think he has a great feel for the game. Warren Smith is good, and I'm probably one of the few that doesn't mind Andrew Voss. Brandy and Blocker are **** and Matt Russell is pretty boring. But I'd watch any of them rather than the ones on 9.

I find Kayo quality pretty good. The only gripe I have with it is that when watching on my phone, 50% of the time the game doesn't load first go (just black screen). Need to close and reopen App then it is fine. Doesn't happen when watching through TV.

Yes, I agree, Vossy is fine.

My complaint with Kayo is that sometimes it keeps repeating the same 5-10 second sequence a few times. Generally it rights itself but if it keeps going, then you have to hop out of it and go back in.

I think your harsh on Ginuane but thats just me. Excels more with radio commentary but I don’t think he’s done too badly on TV.

Yep i used to love his more humorous commentary but now its him basically sitting there telling us his interpretation of every call. However, this is just fox sports in general now

Yeah, it's a strange one. I actually didn't mind him when he was on MMM but on Fox I just don't think he cuts it. Too dramatic for mine and as I said, he gets too many things wrong. Can't remember exactly his errors but so many times I remember myself shaking my head at what he said.

Yep, it's basically choosing which you find the least worst unfortunately.
I still like Vossy. He's really the only one that comes across as being in on the joke with all the invented controversy and click-baitiness of the way Fox carry on.

Ive used Kayo since it first came out, and i dont think ive ever had an issue with it crashing or glitching at all. I use it through apple tv and telstra tv. Have the app on my tv aswell but the tv likes to disconnect from the internet so i just run through the apple tv

I generally like all the FOX commentators although there are times Blocka does my head in and Brandy can see an incident the complete opposite to how I saw it .
My KAYO is via WIFI Telstra 5G - sometimes NOT the best compared to Cable .
So when I go Nine HD coverage it looks better .
BUT , it seems we ALL agree , we could do without Gus , Andrew Johns and Wally and Lockyer at the very least.
Then 9 becomes more bearable

Personally think Vossy is the best of the bunch with Warren Smith a close second.

Ginuane is great on radio, but doesn’t transition that well to TV in my opinion. On radio you need to speak at a thousand words a minute because you’re painting a picture for someone that can’t see the play, he does the same thing on tv which just isn’t necessary. He sounds rushed when he doesn’t need to be.

In saying that, I’d take Ginuane over Blocker, Flanno, Cronk and Parker. Brandy isn’t too bad when he’s with Smith but he’s average at best with the others.

Matt Russel doesn’t get much wrong with his calls, but his tone just comes across as boring. Give Russel Vossy’s voice, and you’ve got a top tier caller.

Andrew Moore on ABC Radio is one of the best commentators IMO.

Surprised he hasn't been poached to go back to the commercial broadcasters.
